D d boss fat cat reviews

After about 1,000 miles I'm pretty happy with my decision. Don't get we wrong you are not sneaking home but they are not obnoxious like some of the other Fat Cats I have heard. I completed the build 2 weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at the volume and tone, not nearly as loud as I expected and not tinny or hollow in tone. Several places had the perforated versions in stock but had to wait 4 weeks for these. I couldn't find any online reviews or find them in stock anywhere. I think this Louvered Wrapped baffle is a newer design, either that or it isn't very popular. On The advice of a trusted source I went with the louvered wrapped for performance and sound. The current baffle choices for the Fat Cat are: Perforated, Perforated Wrapped, and Louvered Wrapped.

To be honest I like the look of the Billet Cat muffler a little better but you have no choice in baffle and I have heard them and they are louder and a bit hollow sounding. Then I had to decide between the Boss Fat Cat and the Billet Cat. They are expensive and notorious for being LOUD! I didn't want obnoxious loud but i figured if I hated them I could sell and recoup most of my money pretty easily.

I wanted a ghost pipe and I think D&D is the best looking 2-1 that has a ghost pipe available. I recently upgraded to stage II and decided to go with a 2-1 exhaust.Īfter months of looking and changing my mind a dozen times I pulled the trigger on the D&D fat cat.
